After fifteen years in the beautiful light and sunshine of New Mexico and Seattle before that - I am now recreating myself in the vibrant colors of Costa Rica. I have two artist cabinas here and welcome travelers as well as artists who want to come paint the extraordinary colors of this beautiful country! I have finished my book entitled, The Watercolor Artist's Guide to Exceptional Color after two years of intensive work.
I live a pretty quiet life with my animal pals,
Livvie - a sweet, rescued German Shepherd dog, Seurat - a lively hound mix who just loves life, Xena and Beak - two lively conure parrots who have opinions
on everything and all the outdoor wildlife that stops by to visit! I can't say that I really own Sage, a young African Grey parrot - because I'm pretty sure he thinks he owns me. And then there is Flash, the rescued red bellied parrot that you can see in my Animal Pals Together, these are my family here and this
is a life I love.
